Software Engineer Intern
During my time at eFuse as a Software Engineer Intern, I took on key responsibilities that drove significant advancements in various projects. I spearheaded the development of a discord bot, seamlessly integrating it with the eFuse external API to expand opportunities across 100+ communities, benefitting a user base of over 150,000 individuals. Additionally, I played a vital role in enhancing the eFuse Backend API, implementing critical features like authentication, video/image uploads, search, and notifications. This resulted in substantial cost savings, totaling thousands of dollars. Coordinating the standardization efforts, I led the migration of the eFuse backend codebase to TypeScript and successfully transitioned REST endpoints to GraphQL. Furthermore, I established an integration testing framework in the eFuse frontend and implemented a continuous integration pipeline for automated builds and tests. Throughout these endeavors, I also evaluated third-party tools like Auth0, Hasura, and Braze, providing valuable insights to the CTO and contributing to informed decision-making processes.
